I was reading this wiki posting and other articles, and now it does appear that Microsoft is at it again after months of speculation. Yes my friends, another bleeping Microsoft Windows Operating system is coming out –going by the name Windows 7 for now — and most of us are still trying to figure out why the hell Win Xp causes us so much trouble!
Now of course they are not coming out bluntly and saying “yeah we’re going
to make something new so we can brush off Vista’s close failure, and try to gain costomer trust again” they just let enough information leak to cause the geek culture to become aware, and when you notify the geeks, the geeks make the world know.
But for me, it’s too late. The only reason most of us even bother using Microsoft products is because, well, most of us use PCs. My guess is that Apple will be the brand name to knock off windows if windows keeps coming out with half finished fanfare and bug-filled products.
My vote is for this new Microsoft product to be free for a year, whether by download or whatever means, it would be a great payback to us for the lameness over the years, and the trust we’ve given only to be dissapointed over and over. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a decent product, but sometimes I think they are more concerned with taking over everything rather than sarisfying us; the people who made them an empire.
Oh, i can’t wait for 2010, the last chance a Windows system has to impress me.

What made you get Vista?
Are you just a die-hard supporter?
Or do you just use it because it’s readily avaliabe which makes pretty much every program made compatible with it?
